The Sweetest Thing I've Ever Baked

Lily

You may have noticed how quiet it's been around these parts, and here is the small but very sweet reason. Lily arrived on Wednesday, September 8th at 12:24 pm, wide-eyed and screaming to announce her presence to the world.

I will get back to the kitchen, I promise, but not just yet. I want to take some time to enjoy our little Rosh Hashanah blessing.

In the meantime, lots of love to you all from me, A. and little L.

Aww. Congrats to your bundle of joy. I can tell she was born with a sweet, sweet beautiful tooth. I hope she shares the same love of baking as you do. Enjoy your sweet time with her 'cause I hear it goes by quickly.

Irene- many, many congratulations to you! I thought of you this year as we spent our annual vacation in Pine Mountain Lake and wondered if you were there too. I had just had my own baby, Chloe, (July 29) and we sat by the lake and ooohed an awwed at her the whole time! ENJOY your beautiful little darling. I can say that I've been loving every minute! (Despite a little sleep-deprivation!!)
